A recent study from the Institute of Employment and Employability (IBE) on behalf of Hays in the German speaking DA-CH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland in central Europe) has come up with insights on leadership and some of the key HR and management issues in 2015.

New research has found that ‘green’ offices with plants make employees happier and more productive than their lean counterparts. Researchers found that enriching an office with plants could increase productivity levels by 15%. The study, which was published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, is the first of its kind to assess the long-term impacts of plants in an office environment.
