We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Market / Client Risk Management to join our TMG team. This role is located in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Analyze, review, and develop methods to ensure business processes align with BNY processes and procedures to protect the company from operational risk
  • Develop templates for collecting data to monitor the fulfillment of procedures and controls, review data, and identify potential issues for management review
  • Analyze the effectiveness of control design in mitigating audit and regulatory risk and review more complex processes to ensure client services and transactions are executed appropriately
  • Investigate root causes of errors, conduct trends analysis to improve the team’s ability in designing more effective processes and controls, and identify areas for enhancement or changes to existing controls
  • Educate businesses in executing controls by providing clear documentation, answering questions, and providing roll-out assistance as needed

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred
  • Experience in Operations or Audit preferred
  • Ability to contribute to operational risk management for assigned business areas, focusing on larger and/or moderately complex processes
  • No direct reports; provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed
