Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee large projects ($10M+) within the mechanical and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing, as well as a proven track record in managing commercial and industrial projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions, defining scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee, guide, and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers involved on the project.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality results.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders and management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing solutions as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the mechanical and construction sectors.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proficient with project management software and tools.
