Strategic Purchaser ICT (PERM)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a Strategic Purchaser ICT, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ICT sourcing and category strategies in close collaboration with the Technology and Innovation Directorate (DTI). You will oversee complex procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with cantonal procurement regulations while optimizing supplier partnerships. Key responsibilities include Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Developing and executing long-term ICT procurement strategies, ensuring cost-efficient and high-quality solutions. Tender & Contract Management: Leading competitive tenders and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with public procurement laws. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with ICT suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal procurement processes. Project Leadership: Managing high-impact ICT procurement projects, from planning to execution, ensuring seamless integration of new solutions. Advisory Role: Providing expert guidance to the DTI and specialist departments on procurement design and the implementation of ICT solutions.
YOUR PROFILE You have a strong background in strategic procurement, preferably in ICT, and bring a passion for digital transformation. You thrive in a dynamic, service-oriented environment and are skilled in negotiations, supplier development, and compliance management. We are looking for candidates with a degree in Business Administration, Informatics, or a related field. Additional training in procurement (e.g., Certified Procurement Specialist) is a plus. At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the ICT sector. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Fluency in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage. Knowledge of Swiss public procurement law is a plus.
