HealthCare Support is seeking a Medical Director of Hospital and Ancillary Operations to fill an opening with a Managed Care company in San Bernardino County!
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Director of Hospital and Ancillary Operations :

  • Oversee the Pay for Hospitalist Performance Program and SNF, Home Health  & Hospice Services
  • Be the direct contact for all hospitals, SNFs, and hospice
  • Inform and educate hospital and ancillary clinicians about relevant changes in clinical best practices and regulatory mandates
  • Articulate the importance of hospice and post-acute services to the community, which includes how these impact hospital care quality and Member/patient experience.
  • Indirectly oversees staff- administers hires, terminations, and performance reviews
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH
  • Travel: Meeting with in-network Providers

Required Qualifications for Medical Director of Hospital and Ancillary Operations:
  • 5 years of clinical experience as an MD/DO
  • Must have leadership experience in a Hospital setting*
  • Strong product and program management experience
  • Experience in quality, care coordination, and utilization management in an inpatient, ACO, or FQHC environment with a focus on Home Health / Hospice
  • Driver’s License Required and valid automobile insurance
Benefits for Medical Director of Hospital and Ancillary Operations:

Pay Details:
  • $300,000 - $380,000 annually + up to 20% bonus based on HEDIS measures
  • Up to 15% bonus based on fiscal year
