Job Description

You will be required to draft, negotiate and finalise a wide range of commercial contracts, often liaising with the business and other parties involved (including suppliers/external lawyers). You will be a point of contact for the business and able to give credible advice on a wide range of matters - as well as advise and support the Head of Legal on business initiatives and projects relating to the wider group.You will have your own allocation of matters to manage, with the support of the Head of Legal and team, including:
· commercial contracts, which will include sales, supplier agreements, IT agreements, finance and insurance documents;
· projects work, for example, progressing the digital offering of financial products online; and
· general advice on a spectrum of other legal matters, such as data protection, competition law and financial crime

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Commercial Solicitor should have:

  • A law degree and a qualified solicitor.
  • Proven experience in commercial law
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
