Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and lead construction projects in the electrical utilities sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to distribution, substations, and transmission lines, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical utility construction projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to upper management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or electrical utilities industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with distribution systems, substations, and transmission line projects preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
