Job Description
- Provide legal advice on commercial, compliance and governance issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and help establish policies across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and risk assessments.
- Support the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Train other team members on legal matters relevant to the business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- A qualified Solicitor in the UK or relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in commercial law.
- Experience in Corporate / Company law is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
