Business Analyst

Description

We are searching for a Business Analyst to join our team in Summit, New Jersey. This role involves coordinating and evaluating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), designing UAT frameworks, developing test cases for proposed changes and enhancements, and working closely with stakeholders and IT teams. This role is crucial to our operations in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, evaluate, and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results
• Design a UAT framework for business units
• Develop business test cases for proposed changes and enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Work with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems
• Coordinate with the analysis and development of insurance operations processes and workflows
• Manage issues and change requests
• Support business intelligence (BI) activities, particularly analytics and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Support internal and external customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Utilize various software platforms, including Power BI, SQL, and Excel, for data analysis and presentation
• Integrate and maintain data from primary and secondary sources into the data warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is mandatory
• Experience with CRM systems is required
• Knowledge of database management is necessary
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is desirable
• Skilled in conducting Gap Analysis
• Experience in AB Testing is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies is essential
• Understanding of Business Process Functions is required
• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
• Experience in Claim Administration is desirable
• Familiarity with UAT Testing is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
