Job Description
The Community is looking to hire a Senior Account Director to join our Miami office. We are working in a hybrid model with three days a week in office requirement and this person will have to be these three days in our client office.
This role will lead on a large Regional (LATAM) Client and is responsible for client relationship on a day-to-day basis, managing multiple team members across different countries (USA, Mexico and Argentina), and owning the understanding of both client and The Community business objectives to create a successful business partnership.
Responsibilities:
* Build trusted relationships with senior clients (both regional and local) to guide the business and the overall client/agency working relationship.
* Help develop and drive strategy to meet and exceed the client's business objectives.
* Our work with this account ranges from localizing global concepts and campaigns, ensuring that we do so in a way that is relevant to the region, to developing specific campaigns from scratch.
* Acquire in-depth knowledge of the client's business - key issues, competitive situation and industry trends.
* Ability to lead multiple fast-moving projects across multiple lines of business and multiple clients.
* Manage production of projects to keep them on budget and on schedule, and supervise Account Director and Account Supervisors.
* Be the connective tissue between account staff, the senior leaders, and other agency departments, such as Production, Strategy and Creative.
* Provide clear and succinct direction and feedback and contribute to strategic initiatives offering a sound POV.
* Understand and teach the team the mechanics of the creative process and how to get to the best work.
* Oversee all legal clearance, business affairs and production items (talent, music rights, licensing, edits, lifts) for the different markets with Brand Supervisor support.
* Monitor scope (including reconciliation reports) and identify and manage scope creep or opportunities for expansion.
* Understand and teach the team the mechanics of the creative process and how to get to the best work.
* Understand agency initiatives and how they relate to client business (i.e. AI, Social, Innovation, Connections, etc.)
Qualifications
* 10-12 years of fast-paced advertising agency experience in a heavy client role, preferably on large regional brands.
* Automotive and / or luxury brands experience required.
* Understanding of Latin American culture and social media landscape.
* Strong client-service orientation, project management and leadership skills.
* Experience leading digital focused accounts.
* Strong presentation skills - comfortable presenting to Senior Manager-level clients
* Strong experience overseeing and managing client budgets/financials.
* Experience managing a large team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management, organization and detail-oriented skills.
* Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes.
* Must be proficient in MS Office, Google; Docs, Sheets & Slides and Keynote.
* A willingness to travel when needed.
* Fluency in Spanish and English including written and verbal communication experience required.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
