Senior Manager, Global Chemicals Finance

The Global Chemicals Finance Senior Manager will help the Director oversee all financial matters affecting the business and will be a functional business partner to the general manager regarding all finance matters.
  • Salary: $150-$190k
Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the financial performance of the Global Chemicals Business helping Director oversee all finance matters for the business unit and will interface on behalf of the business unit on corporate finance matters such as corporate financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, Tax and Treasury
  • Interact as a customer with the shared service organization to ensure quality service to the business unit
  • Support the general manager of the Global Chemicals business in all matters relating to finance
  • Directing financial planning, forecasting (including cash forecasting)
  • Analyzing and reporting on the business unit to drive financial performance and ensure the accuracy of business unit financial statements
  • Overseeing audit and tax requests related to the business unit including statutory compliance where applicable
  • Driving accounts receivable collections
  • Managing cost and implementing efficient processes
  • Evaluating new bids for the business unit to ensure they meet minimum financial requirements
  • Implementing accounting/ financial policies for the business unit mandated by corporate accounting
  • Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
  • Training and overseeing finance staff across all finance disciplines
  • Analyzing and recommending capital projects
  • Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk
  • Analyzing complex financial data and transactions
  • Ensuring effective internal controls
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to develop and manage large team and ability to work cross functionally
  • Excellent analytical skills to recommend solutions
  • Maintain confidentiality and operate in the role with the highest of ethical standards and professionalism
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA, CMA or other relevant certification a plus
