Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization. The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote This role is contributing to the Packaging/Motion/Systems Drive in Mid-Atlantic region. Main stakeholders are Channel Partner. You will be mainly accountable for: • Create channel programs to drive US business growth via industrial channel partners and systems integrators • Ownership of the US system drives channel policy framework, providing structure and consistency in go to market strategy and practices (approved by legal and compliance teams) • Maintain channel programs and documents including marketing development funds, business plan tools, system integrator, eCommerce, point of sale and stocking programs • Lead annual distributor classification process with channel management team Our team dynamics: You will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor's degree required with minimum 10 years of relevant experience within a complex business environment
* Must have prior direct customer and channel leadership experience
* Experience preparing executive presentations and presenting at the VP level
* Market knowledge in drives and industrial vertical market applications is preferred
* Channel strategic planning and design
* Experience with Sales Force and Power BI tools to manage channel behavior
* Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
