Prospero Integrated are searching for a Head of Engineers to lead a team of AV Engineers , and oversee all aspects of audiovisual project installations, from initial design to final implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to engineers for AV installation projects from planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of AV Installation Engineers, providing guidance training and mentorship.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in AV system installations.
  • Develop training programs for AV Installation Engineers to enhance technical skills
  • Allocate resources efficiently for AV installation projects, including allocation of personnel, equipment and materials.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their AV system requirements.
  • Address any technical challenges that may arise during installation process.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in AV installation workflows
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in AV installations.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for AV Installation Engineers.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in AV engineering, with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of AV systems, digital signage, IPTV, and room/desk booking solutions
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in AV technology, engineering, or related fields.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK
