Job Title: Data Infrastructure Manager - Azure DevOps and Platform Engineering

Salary up to 120k

Position Overview:

As a Data Infrastructure Manager specializing in Azure, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the data infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of Azure services, DevOps practices, and platform engineering to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of data infrastructure solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of data infrastructure into our overall technology stack.
  • Implement and optimize DevOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of platform engineering best practices for data-related services.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of data infrastructure components.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Infrastructure Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, with a focus on data-related offerings (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, etc.).
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and tools, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Expertise in platform engineering, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
