Senior Director of Sales, TV Networks

VideoAmp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director of Sales to join our team in New York, NY. In this role, you will lead our sales efforts, with a primary focus on selling our currency solutions to TV networks, local TV stations, and MVPDs. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets by effectively selling VideoAmp's currency solutions to TV networks, local TV stations, and MVPDs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the TV and advertising sectors. Leverage this knowledge to position VideoAmp as a leader in the industry.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients, leading efforts to generate new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales activities, results, and opportunities.
  • Generate revenue by creating and executing co-selling opportunities with VideoAmp’s partners leveraging the right product solutions.
  • Ensure win/win outcomes for our clients and VideoAmp by developing and executing a unified go to market strategy that maximizes recurring revenue.
  • Define and create the optimal positioning and segmentation strategies to pick up market share.
  • Build long term strategic plans with our partners and mobilize resources in order to drive. investment against key initiatives, categories and product lines to maximize growth potential.
  • Determine optimal pricing and promotional strategy to maximize revenue and outcomes from the partnership.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the advertising or media industry, with a strong emphasis on TV networks, local TV, and MVPDs.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Existing strong relationships within the TV and advertising sectors, particularly with key decision-makers.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

  • This position pays between $150000-$225000 base salary + Bonus/Commissions + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
