Job responsibilities:

  • To create and develop an innovative vision for the future of an educational programme.
  • To act as an ambassador in promoting the educational programme and its goals to new and existing members, and to act as a champion for the education team.
  • To commission and deliver world class education, training and CPD in a wide range of new and exciting formats, in response to current and future market needs.
  • To network extensively, travelling as required, to develop collaborative partnerships and relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the strategic leadership and financial sustainability of educational output.
  • Lead and ensure the professional development of the Education team of eight staff members.
  • Contribute to overarching strategic and financial planning, by providing ongoing analysis of performance of individual events against budget and KPIs, and communicating the rolling pipeline of forthcoming events.
  • Lead on the formulation and implementation of education and events strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the Education Committee and related working groups on education and assessment theory and practice, drawing on best practice and new developments across the field.
  • To prepare reports and statistics on activities within the sphere of responsibility as requested.
  • Translate the strategic plan into workable and achievable operational plans with realistic targets and budgets.
  • Negotiate and oversee the delivery of education projects, including joint/associated events in collaboration with external organisations.
