Responsibilities
This position will be located at the new GD-OTS facility located in Mesquite.
Summary:
This position is responsible for preparation, review, and coordination of the financial and accounting functions within established policies and procedures of the company and within established requirements of the US Government.
Essential Functions:
* Oversee all functions related to Finance
* Coordinate annual Four-Year Strategic Plan preparation
* Coordinates monthly Current Estimate reporting with emphasis on variances to prior forecast, re-forecasting, and risk and opportunity evaluation. Includes Collaboration with Program Management and Business Development functions
* Manage and oversee the EAC process ensuring accuracy, compliance, and incorporating results into financial forecasts
* Maintain and update overhead bid rates
* Financial representative on cross-functional team responsible for all major proposals including US Government, Commercial Aerospace, and International customers
* Responsible for review of all local Accounting and Finance policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX requirements
* Ensure compliance with all financial and corporate requirements including: SOX, GAAP, CAS, FASB, FAR, and DFAR

Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree required in discipline/major Finance/Accounting; MBA preferred
* 5 - 7 years related experience in functional area, plus 1 - 3 years managerial experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abiliities:
* Comprehensive understanding of overhead rate centers and application of knowledge to bid decisions.
* Working knowledge of CAS and FAR regulations.
* Ability to recommend appropriate action for routine contractual and financial reporting based on interpretation of FAR & CAS.
* Working knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes of financial analysis. Working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies
* Advanced application of relevant software applications
Physical Demands:
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
* Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
