The Product Security Engineer reports to the Global Product Security Engineering Leader and will be responsible for core technology, knowledge, processes, and infrastructure to enable product security across our 14,000 software engineers.

· Enable and Automate Secure Product Development Lifecycle across the spectrum of Product Security Services and Tools
· Develop standards, development best practices, reference implementations, and testing modules used by the rest of the business for the area of responsibility
· Security focal within cross-functional product selection teams
· Deploy and support equipment, tools, and processes to facilitate security assessments.
· Directly support the Architecture, Assurance, and Excellence organizations as needed

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent experience
· Passion for Product Cyber Security and enabling this within the platforms for our product teams
· 1yr Java / Python development experience in a security-conscious environment
· Good interpersonal skills and be willing to engage with other engineering teams across the globe.

· Subject matter expert in at least one with knowledge of several other areas:
o JIRA / ScriptRunner
o Python 3
o Java / Groovy
o Cloud Services: AWS and/or Azure based cloud deployments
o Ansible-based deployments
o Linux: preferably Yocto, Buildroot, Ubuntu Core or other embedded distributions
o Hardware Design with a focus on enabling Cyber Security within the product
o JTAG and related low-level hardware diagnostic and control interfaces
o Secure Boot / Local Encryption within embedded devices
o Secure Element / TrustZone implementation and support
o C / C++
o IOT platforms, stacks, and interfaces
o Defensive Countermeasures
o Security Operations
· Experience operating within a Scaled Agile or DevOps environment
· Passion for learning and exploring new technologies and approaches
· Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Technical experience in the software security field
· Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
· Public speaking at Technical Conferences covering the SME areas
