Rock Mechanical Engineer

Position Description:

  • Deliver global services to Equinor assets within geomechanics, drilling-, and production related rock mechanics: 

    • Geomechanics: compaction & subsidence, modeling, fault reactivation, pore volume compressibility, salt creep. 

    • Drilling related rock mechanics: wellbore stability, formation stress measurements, formation as barrier, stress data. 

    • Production related rock mechanics: injection, sand production, hydraulic stimulation.

  • Close collaboration with internal and external customers during planning of wells.

Position Requirements:

We are looking for a range of new team members to join our Subsurface division. 

We are seeking diversity in background and experience, and need subsurface specialists, as well as generalists within oil and gas.
