About Our Client

My client has been serving the Greater Boston Construction market for 40+ years, across Multifamily, Life Sciences, and Commercial market sectors. They have a great reputation in the construction industry and have many repetitive clients. They are actively looking for an experienced Project Manager/ Senior Project manager to join their team on a $450M Multifamily build north of Boston.

Job Description

  • Communicate with Superintendent, Project Executive, Architect, Owner and subcontractors
  • Maintain and implement project schedule, submittals, manufacturing schedule
  • Prepare Estimates, Change Order Requests, process notices, monthly project report including cost & schedule
  • Assisting in the purchasing of products; negotiating skills, necessary documents
  • Client facing role; develop and maintain client relationships
  • Perform annual performance reports of those who report to you
  • Prepare drawings and details
  • Promote BD
  • Train subordinates and monitor their development

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Construction Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5 - 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager (preferably in the multifamily space)
  • Multifamily project experience preferred or project experience within one of the other core markets served (assisted living, commercial, academic, health care)
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
  • Understanding of construction technology (Procore)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
