The Director of Health System Strategy will be responsible for all aspects of supporting client level strategy growth, profitability, and quality. The Director will lead and support operations and client services teams in new and current business performance, and strategic development for programs at client sites. The Director will also serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of specialty pharmacy and health system business, offering insight on planning and execution into new service lines, and therapies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:Work directly with the VP, Client Services & Strategy, and the Client Services & Strategy team to analyze, develop, and support the execution of key business priorities for CHS' clients after implementation Lead and own the creation of detailed analysis, financial models for new clients and business opportunities including business case development Lead the creation of presentations and proposals that are client facing intended for all audiences for both CHS and clients (executive and operational level) Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CHS and client leadership team to facilitate efficient decision making Track current and potential new initiatives within existing clients to improve client business (revenue, expense, margin) Lead performance improvement initiatives as needed for client sites, identifying trends, and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues, providing decision support for operational management teams Partner with site-level operations leadership to evaluate opportunities to expand CHS service offerings to new specialties, clinics, therapies, and programs Manage and lead a high performing team of analysts, strategy managers and other members of the client strategy team; monitor, analyze and improve team performance. Provide subject matter expertise on critical elements of health system pharmacy business, spanning finance, 340B, operations, information technology, HR, training, and marketing. Assist in assessing inquiries directed to CHS leadership, determine proper courses of action with delegation to the appropriate teams Navigate and execute on project-based work in each client environment as needed (e.g., hospitals, health systems, clinics, providers) Partner with operational leaders to execute on initiatives and in some cases lead implementations of those initiatives Adhere to all CHS' RESPECT behavioral standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree required MBA or PharmD. Preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree only EXPERIENCE:Three to five years of experience in health system, finance, or business management (or other equivalent) or strategic development KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Foundational understanding of health system business, project management and models Deep understanding of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and 340B Growth-mindset Exceptional Excel, Powerpoint and Office skills, including financial modeling and business visualizations Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Capability to solve complex business issues Data driven decision making style Understanding of health system data sources, IT systems and capabilities Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans Ambitious, reliable and self-starter with effective multi-tasking ability Presentation with written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel nationally to client sites as needed Associated topics: antibody, aseptic technique, dietary, health, histology, injury, kinesiology, nutritionist, patient, physiologist
