Supplier Quality Manager

The global R&D and customer service centre are based in Liechtenstein. The SME with around 250 employees is part of a diversified industrial group but benefits from clear structures, flat hierarchies, and short decision-making processes. On behalf of our customer we are seeking for the position as 

SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGER

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY   You will specify the quality requirements towards the supplier as part of the product development process supporting the project leader. The key responsibility is to execute the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in compliance with the standards of the automotive industry. This includes analysis and solving quality issues in the development phase, the acceptance tests of first articles, and the monitoring of the quality indicators. Identifying new suppliers and conducting supplier audits are additional tasks. You are the interface between the suppliers and the internal stakeholders such as project leaders, procurement and the quality management. Your work will have significant impact on the supplier relationship and the development of innovative solutions to expand the product portfolio. Your willingness to travel internationally incites you to deliver top performances. 

YOUR PERSONALITY   You have a university degree or profound experience as technician in mechanical or electrical engineering or in the area of air-conditioning technology. Your expertise in the methodology of APQP must be excellent, experience in the automotive industry is a plus. The use of the various tools in quality management makes your daily work a pleasure. With your various competencies, you contribute to the enhancement of the supplier’s performance with respect to quality. This requires also a good understanding of the processing of electrical components. Thanks to your unique knowledge you are taking a pioneering role in the team. Your English and German communication skills written and spoken are both business fluent. Traveling abroad to suppliers and our customer’s plants is a pleasure for you.
