As a DB2 System Programmer at Swedbank, you will manage and optimize a large DB2 for z/OS environment within our Mainframe Infrastructure team. Responsibilities

Manage production DB2 for z/OS in a high-availability environment
Understand and optimize DB2 architecture, subsystems, and data sharing
Install, configure, and maintain DB2 instances and environments
Plan and execute DB2 upgrades, migrations, and service management
Monitor and tune performance (buffer pools, logging, locking, access paths)
Work with DB2 system tools (IBM tools or vendor equivalents)
Apply z/OS concepts related to storage, CPU usage, and resources

Key requirements

Strong experience with DB2 for z/OS in production
Solid understanding of DB2 system architecture, subsystems, and data sharing
Hands-on experience with DB2 installation, configuration, and maintenance
Experience with DB2 upgrades, migrations, and service management
Experience with performance monitoring and tuning
Experience working with DB2 system tools (IBM tools or vendor equivalents)
Understanding of z/OS concepts, including storage, CPU usage, and system resources
