Experteer Overview
As a Wireless Test Engineer, you will support R&S mobile test instruments across 5G NR, LTE, and related wireless technologies. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to design and automate test cases, tools, and environments for the R&S wireless test platform. You’ll own automation framework development and introduce new features and test integrations. This role combines advanced wireless technology, test automation, and cross‑functional impact to shape scalable test solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop test cases, tools, and environments for wireless test platforms
- Lead automation framework development and maintenance
- Integrate new features and tests into the automation suite
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support 5G NR, LTE, VoLTE/VoNR, and related technologies
- Work on test automation for NR5G sub6 & mmW and standalone/non-standalone feature support
- Utilize Python scripting and Linux commands for automation tasks
- Work at various locations in the U.S. and travel up to one trip per year
Key requirements
- Master in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2 years of experience in QXDM
- 2 years of experience in NR5G (sub6 & mmW)
- 2 years of experience in LTE and LTE-Advanced
- 2 years of experience in VoLTE/VoNR
- 2 years of experience in Standalone and Non-standalone feature support
- 2 years of Python scripting experience
- 2 years of Linux command experience
