In this role, you join the Equity Portfolio Management team within Wealth Management to blend fundamental equity analysis with quantitative and factor-based methods. You will work with portfolio managers and analysts to apply models and data-driven insights across global markets, shaping discretionary equity and multi-asset portfolios. You will contribute to risk-aware portfolio construction, research, and technology-enabled investment decisions in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. This position offers meaningful impact through quantitative investment ideas and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Apply risk models (e.g., Axioma) to assess portfolio exposures and support risk management across global equity markets
Partner with portfolio managers to use quantitative models to improve portfolio construction and conduct performance attribution
Build and maintain financial models using Python, R, and large datasets; apply AI/ML techniques to enhance research and portfolio management
Collaborate with fundamental analysts to integrate quantitative insights into investment strategies
Clearly communicate quantitative concepts and findings to portfolio managers and investment professionals
Maintain focus on compliance and risk management in all analyses

Key requirements

6-10 years’ experience on long-only equity buy-side
Deep understanding of equity markets, financial theory, and risk models; experience with Axioma or similar models
Advanced Python skills with data libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and API work
Proficiency in statistics, econometrics, machine learning, and AI techniques
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
CFA designation or progress toward CFA

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to explain quantitative concepts Clear passion for financial markets and investing Python (Pandas, NumPy)Data analysis with APIs Axioma or other risk models
