In this role you will lead the planning function to align product strategy with financial goals and brand equity. You’ll oversee inventory planning across multiple categories, driving in-season forecasting and replenishment to maintain optimal stock and margins. You’ll partner with vendors and cross‑functional teams to develop short- and long-term strategies that scale the RH vision. You will mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while shaping how we translate taste into a global design ecosystem. This position offers the chance to impact profitability, product assortment, and the brand’s leadership in luxury retail.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly and monthly financial reviews and identify actions to maximize sales and margin
- Own in-season forecasting and replenishment to maintain best-in-stock levels
- Collaborate with vendor partners to secure unit capacity and resolve in-stock constraints
- Develop long- and short-term product/assortment strategies
- Drive product assortment to meet sales and margin forecasts
- Manage all financial plan components: demand, net sales, margin, inventory turn
- Analyze weekly/monthly trends to identify opportunities and risks
- Create exit strategies for non-productive inventory to maximize GMROI
- Prepare divisional forecasts and action plans for monthly OTB meetings and executive reviews
- Regularly review KPIs to mitigate risks and seize opportunities
Key requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading and inspiring a planning team at a senior level
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and leading large teams with multiple divisions
- Proven track record in top-down and bottom-up financial planning and understanding of sales, gross margin, weeks on hand, weeks of supply
- Ownership mindset to drive division profitability and impact total business
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with ability to present strategies
- Experience in mentoring and developing direct teams and the broader business
- Exceptional Excel skills and data analysis
