In this role, you will shape Preply’s financial strategy to enable sustainable growth and global scale. You’ll lead financial planning, capital allocation, and governance, partnering with the CFO and executive team to align financial performance with strategic priorities. You will prepare the organization for potential capital markets activity and ensure investor confidence through transparent reporting. You’ll guide cross-functional finance teams and drive disciplined execution to support rapid expansion and profitability.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategy with the CFO and leadership
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation to sustain profitability and cash management
- Strengthen investor narrative and external communications with investors
- Prepare for public-company environment including governance, controls, and audit readiness
- Advise senior leaders as a trusted financial partner to align resources with goals
- Build scalable processes, systems, and decision frameworks for global growth
- Lead FP&A, Corporate Finance, Procurement, and PMO, with oversight of Finance Analytics
- Drive cross-functional program management to ensure disciplined execution of strategic projects
- Foster a culture of accountability, talent development, and excellence
Key requirements
- 10+ years in progressive finance leadership roles
- 5+ years in senior-executive, multi-disciplinary leadership
- Direct experience with public-company readiness and investor expectations
- Proven track record in scaling FP&A and corporate finance functions
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, and operations leaders
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and empower teams to scale
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
- Experience in B2C marketplace and B2B GTM is a plus
