In this role you will lead the operational strategy for Everli’s Italian marketplace, driving delivery and fulfillment excellence. You will partner with the CEO and CTO to align logistics with technology and scale across 60+ cities. You’ll build and mentor a high-impact operations team while improving same-day availability, on-time delivery, and overall efficiency. Responsibilities

Define and execute an operational strategy to improve processes, workflows, and team performance
Set, monitor, and optimize KPIs (same-day availability, order completion, on-time delivery, city performance)
Partner with CEO and CTO to align logistics with technology platforms and routing systems
Build, mentor, and structure a high-impact operations team with clear incentives and growth paths
Optimize fulfillment, shopper workforce management, and last-mile delivery across 60+ cities
Solve problems on the ground and drive a culture of proactive problem-solving
Ensure strong performance management using data, analytics, and customer insights
Develop scalable playbooks and SOPs to support new city launches and expansion

Key requirements

Extensive experience in logistics, operations, or supply-chain leadership
Background in gig-economy / fleet-based operations (rideshare, food delivery, courier)
Strong strategic and analytical skill set with proven KPI ownership
Leadership style combining accountability with hands-on involvement
Experience managing multi-city or multi-region operations
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders
Familiarity with last-mile delivery technologies and marketplace models
Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or similar (MBA a plus)
