As Vice President, General Manager at WBKO/Gray Media, you will lead a multi-platform station with the aim of growing ratings and revenue. Responsibilities

Lead a multi-platform station focused on revenue and audience growth
Generate ratings and revenue; develop strategic and operational plans for growth
Communicate with department heads; foster collaborative, accountable team environment
Encourage innovation and provide leadership and development opportunities
Build strong client and partner relationships; serve as community leader
Oversee financial statements, budgets, and regulatory compliance (FCC, EEO, SOX)
Uphold company policies and high ethical standards; adapt to changing needs
Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field; equivalent experience considered
Ten+ years of media experience including GM or DOS roles
Strong communication skills (written, presentation, oral) and people skills
Strategic/analytical thinking with leadership abilities (emotional intelligence, conflict resolution)
Proven negotiator; ability to build teams and high performers
Willingness to be a community leader; familiarity with employment law at an operational level
Financial reporting experience and budget management
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
