In this role you will oversee Nexstar’s Fort Wayne media properties, driving operational excellence across WANE (CBS) and all digital assets. You will lead a sales-driven, cross-functional team to expand audience reach and grow revenue through multi-platform content across OTT, linear, web, and social. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to elevate community engagement and local impact. You will work closely with station departments and local leaders to foster collaboration and sustainable growth. This is an opportunity to shape a duopoly operation and strengthen Nexstar’s local broadcasting and digital services in a vibrant market.

Responsibilities

oversee operations of WANE (CBS) and wane.com including all digital, mobile, and social assets
lead a high-performing, sales-driven organization with emphasis on revenue growth
develop and scale locally originated content across OTT, linear, web, and social platforms
drive audience engagement and expand market reach
foster a highly collaborative culture across all station departments
manage duopoly operations (preferred) and coordinate with department heads
engage with local community leaders and build long-term client relationships
provide strategic vision and execute plans to achieve growth and innovation

Key requirements

minimum five years of broadcast management experience at a commercial broadcast television station with digital assets
experience leading high-performing sales and news teams
expertise in advanced digital advertising solutions and new business development
ability to create and scale local content across OTT, linear, web, and social
strong collaboration skills across departments and with community partners
preferred: experience managing a duopoly operation
