In this role you help private business owners navigate complex transitions within J.P. Morgan Private Bank. You will provide strategic guidance to owners and internal partners, shape pre- and post-transaction planning, and help optimize governance and wealth transfer decisions. You work across advisory teams to deliver tailored, value-driven outcomes for multigenerational businesses. This is a high-impact position at scale, focused on driving thoughtful, sustainable results for clients.

Responsibilities

Provide thought leadership to business owner clients and internal partners
Discuss transition options and current market environment in group and one-on-one settings
Evaluate and guide deal terms and structure; identify value and synergy opportunities
Evaluate and review management succession plans
Partner with Wealth Advisors/Wealth Strategists on pre- and post-transaction planning within family wealth transfer
Review and propose corporate governance structures
Review corporate documents including operating and buy-sell agreements; suggest best practices

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree
Five plus years of relevant work experience in Mergers and Acquisitions or related fields including Legal, Investment Banking, Private Capital, Family Office, Valuation or Asset Management
Ability to travel within assigned markets

Sense of urgency Proactive, accountable work ethic Detail oriented and highly organized Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams Solid analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of financial valuation models
