In this role you will support energy and resources projects by analyzing geologic data, performing tunnel and related underground structure design, and guiding technical work from field investigations to reports. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget while developing proposals and client-ready deliverables. Responsibilities

Collaborate with technical teams to deliver and review technical work, present findings, plan project portions, and contribute to proposals
Plan and manage tasks to meet schedule and budget constraints
Foster collaboration across business lines and geographies
Perform preliminary and detailed analyses and designs for tunnels, shafts, caverns, and facilities for hydroelectric and related projects
Develop designs using sketches, models, diagrams, and visual formats
Create three-dimensional models and utilize numerical/empirical methods for analyses
Conduct quality assurance/control on own and peers' projects
Assist with proposal development
Travel up to 10–25% of the time

Key requirements

5–10 years in tunnel engineering
Advanced training in numerical modeling, geologic modeling tools, rock mechanics, and associated software
Valid driver's license with REAL ID and good driving record
EIT/PE preferred
