Experteer Overview

In this role, you administer personal trust accounts including testamentary/intervivos trusts, foundations, and agency accounts under the guidance of the trust team. You open and maintain estates and guardianships, interpret governing documents, and support day-to-day administration while building client relationships. You will review activity, address tax and administration issues, and help ensure accuracy and compliance across accounts. This position offers exposure to tax reporting, distributions, and cross-functional collaboration within a respected bank.

Responsibilities

  • Review and revise trust-related paperwork for CNB trustee relationships to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare new account paperwork and maintain account documentation
  • Analyze anticipated income and cash flow to meet beneficiaries and expenses
  • Obtain missing documents from clients and perform annual administrative reviews
  • Produce and review tax reports; manage tax payments and calendars; liaise with Tax Vendor
  • Gather data for reconciliations; ensure distribution requirements for charitable trusts; review fee agreements
  • Coordinate setup and monitoring of personal property inventories and related assets
  • Provide responsive client service via phone, email, and written communications
  • Respond to advisors/intermediaries about administration and maintenance of accounts
  • Close out compliance/audit inquiries and prepare draft correspondence
  • Maintain training and continuing education requirements for internal programs and licenses
  • Follow Regulation 9 processes and keep new account logs

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services
  • 3+ years of basic computer experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 3+ years of experience in trust administration (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and evaluate information for decisions
  • Ability to set priorities and objectives
  • Trust Certificate and/or CTFA a plus
