In this role you will administer personal trust accounts, interpreting trust instruments and supporting day-to-day fiduciary operations. You will work with the trust team to open and maintain estates and guardianships, and you’ll build relationships with clients to support custodial services. Expect to review account activity, handle tax-related tasks, and coordinate with tax vendors to ensure accurate and timely administration. Responsibilities

  • Review and revise paperwork for CNB-trusteed trusts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare new account paperwork and analyze anticipated cash flows for distributions and fees
  • Initiate annual administrative reviews and verify forms align with trust documents
  • Produce and review tax reports, research deficiency notices, and coordinate tax payments
  • Gather data for account reconciliation and ensure distribution requirements for charitable trusts
  • Process discretionary distribution requests and obtain approvals from the Trust Officer
  • Coordinate tracking of personal property and real assets tied to trusts
  • Provide client service via phone, email, and written communications; respond to advisor inquiries
  • Review documents for compliance by the department, audit, and OCC inquiries
  • Maintain training and continuing education for internal programs and external licenses

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services
  • 3+ years of basic computer experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information to recommend actions
  • Trust Certificate and/or CTFA a plus
