In this role you drive end-to-end client experiences in the Mid-Corporate Payments space, focusing on Insurance while supporting a diversified client base. You will act as a National Champion for the Insurance Subsector, coordinating with marketing, training and banking to create sector-specific marketing and opportunities. You’ll grow new business and deepen relationships by delivering integrated treasury solutions across industries. This position offers cross-functional exposure and the chance to influence large national insurance opportunities with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow relationships with insurance clients and understand their business models and payment needs
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector using industry insights
Stay informed on insurance trends and competition to advise clients and drive sales
Act as National Champion for the Insurance Subsector and collaborate on marketing and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Deepen relationships across multiple industries and generate profitable new business from prospective clients
Engage senior stakeholders to provide integrated treasury solutions through a consultative framework
Represent client perspective with internal product teams to shape complex products and ensure compliant delivery
Understand client goals and industry trends to identify opportunities for J.P. Morgan Payments
Manage client visits and lead ongoing discussions about products, market developments, and industry trends
Lead proposal writing and manage the sales process including RFIs/RFPs
Drive cross-sell opportunities by maintaining relationships with other J.P. Morgan lines of business

Key requirements

5+ years of cash management, sales, and relationship management experience with exposure to insurance and diversified industries
Strong knowledge of Payments products (Treasury Services, Merchant Services, Trade & Working Capital, Commercial Card)
Ability to assess opportunities and engage key decision makers
Proven account planning and execution skills
Creative problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
Proven ability to build and develop cross-sector relationships
Strong attention to detail and time management
Understanding of compliance and KYC processes
Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills
