Responsibilities

Conduct traffic studies and analyses to assess transportation needs and impacts
Design and develop traffic control plans and roadway designs compliant with local and state standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver transportation solutions
Perform Traffic Impact Analyses and provide recommendations
Manage multiple projects with deadlines and budgets
Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Conduct field inspections of transportation infrastructure
Utilize design software to simulate and analyze traffic patterns and roadway designs

Key requirements

PE license preferred, or EIT/EI with plan to pursue PE
5+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering, highway/roadway design, and civil practices
Proficiency in Highway Capacity Software, Synchro, and Simtraffic
Experience with Traffic Impact Analysis and design preferred
Familiarity with municipal zoning and land development regulations
Excellent project management and teamwork
Strong written and verbal communication skills
