In this role you will help grow the trademark practice by partnering with Bay Area firms to add Trademark partners and Of Counsel. You will leverage your existing book of business to meet a minimum threshold and collaborate with client firms to shape strategic hires. This position offers the chance to influence lateral growth for boutique and regional firms in a dynamic legal market. You will work with cross-firm teams to align on client needs and expansion goals.

Responsibilities

identify and facilitate placement of Trademark partners/Of Counsel at Bay Area firms
drive growth of trademark practice through acquisition of lawyers with established books
advise on alignment of candidates with client firm needs and strategic goals
build and manage relationships with boutique and regional firms to expand the practice

Key requirements

book of business ≥ $350k (minimum)
experience in trademark law and practice development
ability to liaise with multiple client firms to structure partnerships

communication relationship-building negotiation Trademark law expertise lateral partner placement practice development strategy
