In this role you will design, validate, and deploy IP-based voice communications systems for air traffic control within a cross‑functional team. You will drive test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure compliant, customer‑satisfying deliverables. You’ll work with global teams to coordinate tests, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes, contributing to secure and reliable communications solutions. This position offers impact through hands‑on testing, automation, and collaboration with engineering and project teams in a government‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

Design, integrate, and deploy IP-based voice comms systems and subsystems including analog protocol converters and networking
Develop test plans and procedures aligned to SOW, requirements, specs, and standards
Design SUT/DUT and coordinate testing milestones with internal and external customers
Lead and participate in internal and customer test events within schedule and budget
Create and review test cases, ensure requirement validation and customer satisfaction
Provide status updates, generate test and defect reports, and contribute to risk mitigation
Assist design/project teams to isolate root causes and implement fixes
Develop test automation procedures and scripts
Maintain and trace verification requirements with VRTM
Collaborate with system test teams in Europe, North America, and other regions
Support testing from project initiation to closeout with a validation and customer‑first mindset

Key requirements

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant engineering degree
5+ years of systems test experience in telecom/networking with US Government test programs
Configuring and analyzing VoIP networks and computing infrastructure
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Proficient with DOORS for requirements management
Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams
Proficient in Linux OS (CentOS/Oracle) and VMs
Willingness to travel to customer sites
Proactive, analytical, detail‑oriented, self‑managed
Able to work in an international team without formal direction
US citizen with ability to obtain US Government security clearance
