Experteer Overview
As a Cyber Technical Analyst at GCI, you apply a multi-disciplinary approach to identify and exploit internet-facing infrastructure targets, using signals intelligence, human intelligence, and large datasets. You will analyze network traffic and vulnerability data to guide technical operations, collaborating with targeters and stakeholders to achieve mission objectives. You’ll work in a cross-disciplinary, security-focused environment, translating complex insights into actionable plans. This role offers impact across mission-critical operations and analytical initiatives within a trusted defense/intelligence context.
Responsibilities
- Combine multiple intelligence disciplines to identify opportunities for collecting on key targets
- Analyze packet capture data and network traffic to inform technical operations
- Collaborate with technical targeters and stakeholders to develop and execute operations
- Leverage tools and databases to identify operational leads and support mission objectives
- Conduct online research securely and maintain operational security
- Analyze diverse data sources to produce actionable insights for decision-making
- Prepare comprehensive targeting information for field and HQ use
- Develop and coordinate actionable cables and targeting packages
Key requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 8–10 years of experience
- US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Experience collaborating with government agencies and stakeholders
- Strong analytical, writing, and briefing skills
- Experience in developing and executing targeting strategies
- Ability to analyze and prioritize targets across data sources
- Familiarity with telecommunications and mobile/network technologies
- Ability to work in secure, covert operational environments
