As Technical SEO Manager at Adapt, you will guide enterprise clients through complex SEO challenges, from audits to migrations, with a focus on AI-driven optimization. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to implement recommendations and stay ahead of search trends. This role blends technical leadership with strategic client advisory in a remote-first, diverse culture. You help shape scalable SEO programs that drive measurable performance.

Responsibilities

Provide weekly ad-hoc technical SEO support to enterprise clients with strategic recommendations
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering site health, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, and structured data
Support large-scale website migrations, including domain changes and site architecture improvements
Advise on and implement AI-focused SEO best practices and AI-driven indexing strategies
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and content strategists to implement recommendations
Use tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and log file analysis to troubleshoot issues
Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates to keep client SEO strategies competitive

Key requirements

3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience (agency preferred)
Strong knowledge of enterprise SEO, including large-scale site architecture and crawl optimization
Experience with audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and DeepCrawl
Expertise in website migrations, redirects, URL changes, risk mitigation
Understanding of AI-driven search trends and AI indexing structures
Familiarity with Google's Search Generative Experience (SGE) and AI impact on rankings
Proficiency in log file analysis and debugging crawlability issues
Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, page speed, and technical performance
Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Schema.org markup
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, and headless CMS
Excellent communication skills for enterprise stakeholders
