In this role you guide the growth of ERM’s Natural Resources practice, focusing on power, renewables, diversified energy, and technology clients across North America. You provide senior technical oversight, build long-term client partnerships, and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex environmental solutions. You will lead business development and leverage ERM’s platform to expand market presence and technical capabilities. This role combines technical leadership with strategic business stewardship to shape sustainable infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead business development and client engagement in Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors
Provide senior technical oversight for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting
Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases
Develop and grow key client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers
Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth
Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives

Key requirements

BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field
15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting
Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation
Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America
Strong business development track record, delivering multi-million-dollar programs
Expertise in HCPs and regional permitting
