In this role you guide and grow ERM’s Natural Resources practice across North America, leading technical delivery and client relationships in power, renewable energy, and technology sectors. You will provide senior guidance in biological resources, restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting, while shaping opportunities and expanding ERM’s market presence. As a trusted advisor, you’ll mentor teams, drive complex environmental solutions, and influence strategic direction within a global partnership.

Responsibilities
- Lead business development and client engagement in Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors
- Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs
- Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases
- Develop and grow key client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
- Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers
- Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth
- Drive project delivery excellence while meeting safety, quality, and financial objectives
Key requirements
- BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting
- Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation
- Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America
- Strong business development track record, delivering multi-million-dollar programs
- Expertise in HCPs and regional permitting
