As Tech Lead for Nivoda Capital, you guide the architecture and delivery of credit risk and transaction monitoring platforms. You will mentor engineers, align technical decisions with business goals, and drive scalable, cloud-native solutions. You’ll collaborate with product and stakeholders to translate needs into robust tech, while advancing best practices and staying ahead of industry trends. This role puts you at the intersection of FinTech and jewelry, shaping credit decisions at scale.

Responsibilities

Design and develop credit risk and transaction monitoring platforms with cross-functional teams
Lead technical decisions, projects, and roadmaps within the Capital Risk Team
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements
Ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely support to teams and customers
Stay updated on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to enhance the platform

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3+ years tech leadership experience in building architected, scalable platforms
Proven experience as Tech Lead or Senior Tech Lead with ownership of end-to-end projects
Strong knowledge of Node.js or Python, database design, and Kafka
Solid understanding of GraphQL, microservices, and distributed systems
Cloud-native distributed systems experience on AWS or GCP
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in underwriting/risk or credit decision platforms is a bonus
