In this role you ensure complete qualification of eight Level-D H145 D-3m simulators by leading regulatory and internal compliance for FSTD operations. You work closely with the FSTDO, maintenance teams, and system experts to supervise QTG tests, data handling, and audit follow-ups, while ensuring IT security alignment. You will act as a liaison with aviation authorities and customers, driving precise documentation and continuous improvement. This is a chance to shape aviation training compliance at a center of excellence.

Responsibilities

Support CMP objectives and ensure compliance assurance and control
Oversee Thales-relevant compliance data in designated tool (e.g., FLEETPLAN) and enforce data entry, tracking, and reporting
Schedule QTG tests and maintenance tasks with Operations Manager and technical teams
Analyze test results, identify and resolve deficiencies
Assist in planning and executing internal Thales audits and participate in external evaluations
Monitor corrective actions for non-compliance and verify effectiveness
Define and report KPIs to measure regulatory and contractual compliance
Coordinate training for Thales personnel involved in FSTD operations
Serve as liaison with authorities, customers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders
Ensure regulatory and CS-FSTD compliance for FSTD operations and maintain documentation and change control

Key requirements

FSTD manufacturing, operations, or CM experience
Technical engineering degree in Aviation, Software, Hardware, or related field
German fluent, English professional level with aviation terminology
Solid knowledge of FSTD operator activities and regulations (EASA ORA, ORA.FSTD)
Understanding of CS-FSTD standards (Helicopter or Airplane)
Experience with configuration management (hardware/software)
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Diplomatic yet assertive approach to protect regulatory and organizational interests
