You will lead the scouting and strategic adoption of emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage across Colgate’s global IT landscape. In this role, you partner with business units, IT teams, and executives to develop roadmaps, pilot programs, and enterprise-wide implementations. You will shape architecture for front-end and back-end solutions, manage cloud-based deployments, and mentor a diverse team. Your work will align technology initiatives with business strategy while advancing AI/ML and future-cloud capabilities. This is a high-impact, global role at a leading consumer products company.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with strategic value; develop roadmaps and implementation strategies
Lead technical design and development of proofs-of-concept and pilot projects
Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions ensuring scalability and security
Oversee project lifecycles from planning to post-implementation review
Manage and mentor a diverse technology team
Collaborate cross-functionally to align tech initiatives with business strategy
Proactively identify and manage technical, operational, and security risks
Stay current with industry trends and provide thought leadership on emerging tech
Build partnerships with external vendors, academic institutions, and innovators

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of professional experience; 7+ years in a technology role focused on innovation, software engineering, R&D, or digital transformation
2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing complex projects
Strong proficiency in modern front-end and back-end development frameworks and languages
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Demonstrated knowledge of AI/ML technologies
