In this leadership role, you will guide a multilingual Property Fast Track team in Madrid, overseeing French property and technical risk claims from notice to settlement. You will ensure compliant, timely, and customer‑focused service within SLAs, while driving performance, development, and continuous improvement. You’ll shape property claims strategies and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to support regional objectives. This is a growth opportunity to lead in a global claims centre and influence outcomes for brokers and clients in the French market.

Responsibilities

Coach and lead a team of Property Fast Track Claims Processors handling French property claims, following Chubb guidelines and SOPs
Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and develop talent to maintain a high-performance culture
Oversee end‑to‑end handling of Fast Track property and technical risk claims for the French market within delegated authority and SLAs
Deliver professional, customer‑centric service through clear communication across channels
Support implementation of property claims strategies and core processes aligned with regional objectives
Set and monitor performance targets using metrics like Cycle Time, Reserve Completion, and response times
Provide monthly/ad‑hoc claims reports and identify improvement opportunities through data trends
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships (brokers, clients, underwriting/operations) and resolve issues promptly
Ensure compliance, quality controls, and accurate claims records across all systems
Facilitate training and knowledge sharing; participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Analyze claims data to drive process enhancements and support regional initiatives
Contribute to Madrid Claims Centre growth and represent Chubb in meetings

Key requirements

Proven leadership and team management experience in claims or similar environment
Previous claims management experience at Team Leader or Supervisor level, preferably property/commercial lines
Solid experience in claims handling within an insurance company or brokerage
Strong knowledge of property coverages and French insurance conventions (IRS I, CIDECOP, Theft and related)
Understanding of indemnity, average clause, exclusions, limitation periods, and liability rules
Bac +2 in Insurance, Legal, or Law; 2+ years property claims handling experience
Native or bilingual French; strong English; additional European languages a plus
Commitment to professional development and staying current with property claims trends
Strong customer service orientation and relationship management
Excellent communication, numeracy, analytical, and organizational skills
Integrity, attention to detail, compliance focus
Willingness to contribute to process improvement and project work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with claims management systems
