In this Team Leader Production role, you guide a 6–15 technician team in assembling sophisticated systems for high-tech sectors. You bridge people, processes and customer value while driving quality, delivery and cost targets. You actively identify bottlenecks, implement improvements, and support NPI to keep our assembly operations aligned with customer needs. You lead with coaching, foster a safe, engaged culture, and contribute to technological advancement for international customers.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a 6–15 technician team in the assembly department
Monitor quality, delivery times and costs to ensure assemblies meet specifications
Optimize work processes and throughput while maintaining quality
Identify bottlenecks and drive improvement actions
Translate customer needs into concrete shop-floor actions
Support introduction of new products (NPI)
Create a safe, open, and engaged work environment with continuous improvement focus

Key requirements

MBO+ level education and at least 5 years' experience in production or assembly
Proven leadership experience managing teams
Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately
Clear Dutch and English communication; motivate colleagues to take ownership
Quality-driven with a focus on process optimization
