In this role you lead and contribute to a firmware platform within a global high-tech company. You will mentor a small firmware team, own the backlog, and drive delivery in an agile Scrum setup. You’ll develop reusable firmware components in C/C++ and shape system architecture while maintaining hands-on coding. Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentor a firmware development team
- Own and manage the firmware product backlog, structure requirements, and prioritize work
- Develop reusable firmware platform components in C/C++ with clear architectures and interfaces
- Drive architectural decisions within the team’s scope
- Analyze requirements and translate into technical specs and development plans
- Contribute to design, development, and implementation of firmware solutions
Key requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Several years of embedded firmware development for microcontrollers
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, RTOS concepts, and Python
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
- Collaborative, communicative team player with responsibility and ownership
