In this role you will lead high-net-worth tax planning and compliance within a sophisticated family-office platform. You will oversee multi-entity returns, deliver strategic projections, and serve as the primary tax and family-office lead, coordinating with accounting and investment teams. You’ll present materials for quarterly family meetings and ensure accurate, holistic view of client wealth. The opportunity centers on shaping client outcomes through rigorous tax leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Oversee, review, and sign individual, trust, gift, partnership, and corporate multistate tax returns
- Lead quarterly and annual tax projections, planning discussions, and strategic recommendations for assigned families
- Serve as the primary tax and family office lead, managing communications, deliverables, and client expectations
- Coordinate with accounting and investment teams to monitor cash needs and ensure liquidity for upcoming obligations
- Review quarterly financial reports to confirm they reflect each client's full financial picture
- Partner with internal teams to prepare and present materials for quarterly family meetings; attend meetings virtually or in person
Key requirements
- Strong technical expertise in individual, trust, partnership, and multistate tax for high-net-worth clients
- Experience managing complex family relationships with discretion, clarity, and sound judgment
- Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with accounting, advisory, investment, and planning groups
- Comfortable mentoring junior staff and contributing to a culture of learning and development
- CPA preferred
