Experteer Overview
As System Chief, you will lead PM&R across Hartford HealthCare’s rehabilitation network to advance clinical excellence, innovation, and academic leadership. You’ll shape care delivery, drive research, and mentor future PM&R physicians within a large, mission‑driven health system. You will align hospitals, institutes, and community practices to deliver high‑value rehabilitation across the continuum. This is a chance to influence system‑wide rehabilitation strategy and partnerships, including academic collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert inpatient and outpatient PM&R care while modeling clinical excellence and innovation
- Set strategic direction with system leaders to expand access and improve outcomes across the care continuum
- Oversee academic and research activities, including the PM&R residency and partnerships with academic and clinical institutions
- Drive system‑wide integration and alignment of rehabilitation services across hospitals, institutes, and community practices
Key requirements
- MD or DO with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- ≥10 years of clinical practice and 3–5 years in leadership roles
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, quality improvement, and team development
- Academic and research experience preferred
- Eligibility for CT medical license; Epic experience a plus
